An afternoon learning how to Prune Fruit trees and trees in general planning for Spring ahead. We are delighted that John the Earthworm will be running this workshop at the Coach House in Kemptown Brighton. – cost only £20

9 February 2013 - 1:00pm at The Coach House

— This  workshop is running at the Coach House in Kemptown Brighton and  is both  a detailed and   practical workshop  looking at all aspects of pruning,  from the early choices following planting right through to the regenerative and restorative pruning of old overgrown trees. We will also be covering some shaping and trained styles like espaliers and look at soft fruit such as currant bushes raspberries and loganberries. There will be opportunities to practice on apples and pears so bring your own tools (secateurs/ pruning saws/ sharp knife). Dress up warm and wear stout footwear!

Bring your own snacks and drinks *( the coach house is a veggi sight ).  Some tools provided.We will be starting with the trees at the Coach house and then take  a short walk to other gardens nearby with spectacular views of the sunset if we are lucky! 1-5 Saturday Feb 9
