_______________
Seth Cooke
Seth Cooke is a sound recordist, drummer, improviser and process performer based in Bristol, UK.
As a field recordist he deletes, displaces and distorts material, preferring failed representation, aberrant modelling and perturbed or transient environments. He frequently overlooks microphones and omits to record the loci in which he operates.
His solo performances currently involve feedback and resonance. As a percussionist he plays traps and waste disposal sink. He sometimes enjoys the flexibility of improvisation and open composition.
He used to play drums for Hunting Lodge and Defibrillators. Current projects include a recurring duo with Dominic Lash and the Every Contact Leaves a Trace CDr label. He co-founded the Bang the Bore collective with Clive Henry in 2009.

Daniel Bennett
Bristol based musician interested in the boundary between abstraction and crude materiality in electronic and computer music. Currently performing with computer, synth, prepared speaker and prepared stylus.
Records solo as Skjølbrot (http://www.skjolbrot.org/), plays in a duo with Stephen Cornford, and in the group Aigon DAAC with Dominic Lash and Stuart Chalmers. In the recent past he has written music for theatre and installation, played guitar in the studiously idiotic rock band Hunting Lodge and organised gigs, screenings and workshops, both for Bristol’s Arnolfini gallery and as part of Bang the Bore.

Clive Henry
Clive Henry’s gauntlets are inscribed with encircled triangles and a trio of runes. Inside the triangle appears the Hebrew theonym for the Tetragrammaton. Additionally, there are rings of inscribed text around the outermost circles. Barely legible, the text on the right gauntlet was believed to read “Laufet, Brüder, eure Bahn, Freudig, wie ein Held zum Siegen” (sic) while the left gauntlet is reported to bear the legend “Froh, wie seine Sonnen fliegen Durch des Himmels prächt’gen Plan, Laufet, Brüder, eure Bahn, Freudig, wie ein Held” (quoque sic). Accounts of more recent performances suggest that the text on the right gauntlet is now identical to that of the left. It is unclear whether Henry deploys more than one pair or had the text altered in the years since the disbanding of Hunting Lodge and the retirement of his Little Creature moniker.
Henry also runs the House of Violence Harsh Noise Wall distro and the CDr label Journal of the Belgae Folk Club.

Hardworking Families
Hardworking Families is the project of one noise boy called Tom Bench. A living venn-diagram of Brighton and Leeds, Tom used to tell anyone who would listen about his favourite abstract music; now he eagerly creates it, developing different sounds, characters and aesthetics inspired by what he loves and what he can’t stand. In performance, he has critiqued the transgressions of power electronics and acted out jokes about indie rock clichés – he has also misunderstood the telos of chairs and stapled reverse contact mics to television sets playing reruns of scrubs.
Expect a set with an actual instrument for this show.
