Sarah Jane Jones will be exhibiting for the first time her amazing moss art.  Wonderful wall creations using harvested moss and other botanical’s such as preserved ferns combined with wood , metal, bone and up cycled pieces. Every piece is unique expression from Sarah, bringing nature indoors.  Louise Smith will also join in the fun with Sarah and have witch boxes to compliment this arrangement.

SCARLET OSTICKS

“Outsider artist Scarlet has this year been experimenting with ‘Main a prima’ and ‘Decalcomanie’ – techniques used by surrealist artists such as Max Ernst, Ernst Fuchs and Salvador Dali. This has felt like an exploration of the sphere of Netzach – the Qabalistic realm of chaotic, abundant nature. She has been further delving into a sense of this using collage.”

NEVIL BREWIN

Nevil Brewin’s latest mainly abstract work explores the micro and macrocosms within the natural world -colours, shapes, patterns and textures. These contrasts explore the ambiguous boundaries between ‘nature’ and ‘human nature’. Nevil exhibited in the Sussex Open at Eastbourne’s Towner gallery in 2017.

FRAN

I’ve never admitted that I’m an artist, so this year I’m stepping forward and claiming it. I am passionate about nature and wilding, remakery and sustainable sourcing. My newest creations are born from happy hours of fossicking for beach junk which I turn into sculptures and pendants. Each piece of wood is a new sensory experience. I love seeing the beautiful and diverse properties emerge out of old pieces of jetsam that most people would walk past.
